He was born September 3, 1927 in Wathena, Kansas.
Chester served with the United States Army and then went on to work and retire for the United States Postal Service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Elaine Gentet and brother, Charles Gentet.
Chester is survived by daughter, Donna Gentet of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Robert Gentet of Texas; granddaughter, Dorinda Elaine of Paris, Arkansas; 3 great grandsons of Arkansas and great great grandchildren.
