Cheryl Rae Yonce

Yonce, Cheryl Rae, 49, Heaven gained an angel on March 26, 2015. Cheryl was a former member of KAPH, ARC, and Special Olympics Hall of Fame. She opened doors for children with special needs in Wichita furthering education. She enjoyed dancing and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Shirley Yonce; brother, Shayne (Amy) Yonce; aunts, Dorothy Moore, Mary Jane Denton; uncles, Ray (Emily) Denton, Gordon Yonce and their families; nieces and nephew, Julie Yonce and her daughter Kayvianna, Justin Warkentine, Alison Yonce and Shelby Yonce; “Angels”, Sandra and Deborah Livengood, Tyler Ubano, Jeremy White, Tammy and Jeff Roberts, Stan Harrison, Hank Blase, Rivercross Hospice, Steve, Wyatt and others. Funeral service is 10:00 am Tuesday, March 31 at Olivet Baptist Church with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Memorials may be sent to Special Olympics, ARC of Sedgwick Co. or Kansas Humane Society.
