Charlie was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend from a large immediate and extended family.
He was a talented craftsman who enjoyed woodworking, and a musician who wrote and recorded music. He was both an entrepreneur and dedicated employee. He owned and operated several businesses including ambulance services in both Oklahoma City and Wichita, and ultimately retiring after a career at Boeing in Wichita. Charlie was also an animal lover and most recently had three Labrador dogs that he loved and cared for.
He is preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.
Survivors include his sister Mary Ann, two nieces Cindy and Mardy who he considered his daughters, along with their many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren that he adored as his own and many other nieces and nephews that he cherished.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2023, at 10am at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
