Carol is survived by her husband, Joe L. Moyer; daughters Michelle Murray (Clive), Melinda Velasquez, and Mona Scheier (Mark); sister Linda Grover; grandchildren Solan Harrison, Seth Harrison (Tamara), Spencer Harrison, Chloe Murray, Charlee Murray, Antonio Velasquez, Sebastian Scheier, and Marek Scheier; and great grandchildren Siarra, Madelyn, Maya, Forrest, Ada, J. D., Louise and Lincoln.
Carol was preceded in death by her father W. F. Lown and her mother Nadine Lown.
A memorial service for Carol will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N Meridian Ave, Wichita, KS 67204.
Carol is infamous for always saying, “I don’t care; you choose!” whether it was deciding where to eat, or what to watch on tv. So look at the following charities and take your pick:
MCC is deep-seated in Carol’s family, as both she and her sister (along with other family members), graduated from this college. Their father also served as president from 1955-1982:
