Carol Bruner

Bruner, Carol, 83, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Wichita. Carol was born the daughter of Eda (Holiday) and Ralph Cammerer on January 8, 1938 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Carol and Cecil Bruner were united in marriage on June 5, 1965. Cecil passed on June 17, 1984, they were married 19 years. It was a happy, loving, marriage. She was a proof reader for a book publishing company in Wichita. She was a dishwasher at the CAC Building at Wichita State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother; Alwyn Cammerer, sister-in-law; Marjorie McLain Cammerer, nieces; Linda and Alicia Cammerer. Survivors include her niece; Bonita Zreliak-Craig, Sandy Coleman, Nancy Oberg, nephew; Leroy Cammerer, grand nieces; Lelani Grier, Alicia Oberg, grand nephews; Darren Zreliak, Chris Gideon, great-grand niece; Mary Emily Thach, nephew-in-law; Julius Zreliak. Funeral service will be 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Westview Baptist Church, 1325 S. Meridian Ave., Wichita. Burial will be held the following day at Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Westview Baptist Church Mission Fund.
