Carl “Reeve” Zimmerman

September 16th, 1950 – June 30th, 2021

Carl “Reeve” Zimmerman peacefully passed into his loving savior’s arms on June 30th, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Reeve was born on September 16th, 1950 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was an only child to Carl and Angelyn (Flanary) Zimmerman.

Reeve is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis (Shore) Zimmerman, daughter Carla Bingenheimer (Jacob), and son Phillip Zimmerman. He had one granddaughter that he loved dearly, Harlow. Reeve was proceeded in death by his parents, Carl and Angelyn Zimmerman.

His greatest joy in life was laughing and spending time with his family and his dog, “Bo”. He especially enjoyed time around the pool in the summertime with his family. He loved watching old tv shows that reminded him of his childhood and talking with his many friends and co-workers. Reeve dedicated his life to working hard and taking care of his family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Johnson City, Tennessee.

The family would especially like to thank Good Shepherd Hospice for taking such good care of Reeve and his family.
