Buford came by often to visit me in my office.  Always had a joke for me.  Glad I got to know him.  He's a great guy.  We'll see you soon Buford.

Dear Shirley, Over the many years that I knew Buford, I was involved in biddy-basketball with Damon, and man,y many times you were with Buford at the restaurant or just happen to run into each other.
I am so proud that I knew and did business with such a great person! He will be sorely missed and my prayers are with his soul and with you and the family!\

Dear Shirley,

             I was shocked to read about Buford's death. Corlie and I always cherished you and Buford's friendship and regret his passing very much. On the many times I would drop in his office to "shoot the bull" I would always leave feeling better than when I arrived. He had a magic to do that to people. God's heavenly gain is our great loss.

Buford and Shirley were neighbors of our when we lived in Brookhaven Estates.  They had a son who was in the same school grade as our daughter.  We shared backyard barbecues together.
They were great neighbors and Buford was always warm and friendly.  

Our condolences to the family. The Blythe`s were the first people to invite us into their home when we moved to Wichita.  We will never forget the kind gesture. Rest in peace Buford. May God bless the rest of the family. Dick and Karen Zeeman. 


To the Blythe Family:
I just learned today of the death of my good friend and client, Buford.  I was his attorney for many years and always enjoyed the conference which would update his business status each year.  He would come into the office and we would laugh and talk for hours.  Later, our conferences were mainly by phone but I always looked forward to visiting with him.  Even though I retired from active practice, I continued to work with him and laugh with him.  He was a great friend and he will be missed.  So sorry for your loss.

Dear Shirley and Family:  It is with warm thoughts and prayers that I share your sorrow in the loss of your loved one.  It was a pleasure working with Buford those 3+ years.  Everyone I introduced him to instantly fell in love with him.  He was definitely a "people person" and there will be a big void in our hearts without him!  However, we know that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," therefore, celebrate Buford and keep each other surrounded by love and hold on to the best memories of him.  May God continue to strengthen you to get through your period of grief and give you healing, comfort and peace.
