Bruce Michael Davis

Bruce Michael Davis 68, U.S. Army Veteran passed away August 6, 2017. Bruce was the epitome of a family man, he was gentle, loved his family and playing with his grandbabies. He was a man of traditions, he loved the spirit of Christmas, foods that reminded him of family times and decorating for the seasons. He enjoyed Nascar, golfing (with Wellers), watching Derick, Justin and Greg drag racing at International speedway, and perfecting his lawn. Bruce was a district supervisor for grocery stores that included: Blairs, GSC, Homeland, Corners Market and Food 4 Less. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed. He was preceded by parents, C.J. and Eloise Davis; brother, Greg Davis; and pet, Brandy. Bruce is survived by wife of 43 years, Karen Davis; daughter, LeeAnna (Harry) Spencer; brother, Brian (Darla) Davis; sisters, Karen Tomlinson and Maria (Jim) Dunlap; grandchildren, Brianna Schulte, Jesse Schulte, Brandon Spencer, and Kyle (Devan) Spencer; great grandchildren, Addilyn and Kyson Schulte. Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 with visitation one hour prior both at Resthaven Mortuary.
