Bonnie L Muth

Ms. Bonnie Louise Muth passed into eternal glory the afternoon of September 29, 2016 in the presence of her beloved children. Bonnie was born January 18, 1927 in Ensign, KS to Fred and Mary Vance. She enjoyed the company of her eight brothers and sisters. She graduated from Wichita State University with a Masters Degree in Education spending 30 years as a 4th grade school teacher. Bonnie started her teaching career in a one room school house in rural Kansas, later moving to Wichita where she completed her degree while teaching at Lincoln Elementary School. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband Harold Muth. Survivors include her three children: son, Kirk (Beverly) Muth of Colorado Springs, CO, son, Gregory (Melanie) Muth of Andover, KS, daughter Susan (Robert) Moellinger of Towanda, KS; three grandchildren, Meghan Chamberlain, Troy and Shane Moellinger, and one great-grandchild, Trenton Moellinger. Visitation with family will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, with graveside service to follow at 4 p.m. in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name with the Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 E. 34th St. N., Wichita, KS 67226.
