Bonnie Mae Krenning

Bonnie Mae "Granny" Krenning, born March 2, 1931 in Eldorado Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully April 15, 2024 at the age of 93 in Wichita, Kansas, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born to Herbert Lacey and Anna Mae Stroer, Bonnie married William John Krenning May 14th 1949.

She earned her Master's in Nursing from WSU and worked as an administrator during her 31 years as a nurse. She enjoyed gardening and decorative arts, was a pilot, an author, seamstress, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children: John, Charles, Kathryn, and Susan; brothers: Fred and Walt: sister, Carol; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill and brothers: Don, Jesse, Francis, Lonnie, Alvin, Earl, Murrel, Robert, and James.

A visitation for Bonnie will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service occuring Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM and a graveside following, all occurring at Resthaven Mortuary and Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
