Bob E. Payne, age 84, owner and operator of Bob Payne Sewer Service, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016. Bob was born on May 19, 1932, in Middletown, Kansas, the son of the late Edgar and Rita (Cooper) Payne. On January 1, 1955, he married Naomi W. (Brock) in Wichita, Kansas. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon; and sister, Betty. Survivors include: wife of 61 years, Naomi Payne; children, Allen (Rose) Payne, Jeffery Payne, and Kimberly Payne; grandchildren, Laura (Jared) Selland, Sarah, Hannah; twin great granddaughters, Abigail and Chloe; sister, Darlene. Visitation 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.; funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, both at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th Street, Wichita, Kansas; burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Wichita, Kansas. A memorial has been established with Calvary Assembly of God, 430 North High Street, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
