Billy was a proud Marine and Vietnam Veteran, always displaying his pride and respect with a t-shirt or hat with the Marine’s emblem. He was a muscle car fanatic with a long list of hot rods in his lifetime. He enjoyed driving fast, until he was unable to drive any longer. He worked for Boeing for nearly 30 years as a Machinist in the Tool and Die department. Working was a huge part of his world and was life changing when he was forced to medically retire. He instilled his hard working ethic into his children. He loved to work in the yard and like to build things. He was always busy doing something. Billy loved music from country to rock to hair metal. And he enjoyed his music LOUD, in fact, the louder the better. Whether it was two stepping or the hustle, Billy loved to dance with his sisters, Aunt and his youngest daughter. He had a sarcastic sense of humor and loved to bring laughter to those around him. Always acting silly with a goofy face, even when he wasn’t feeling the best. He loved all animals, but especially loved his dogs that miss him terribly. Billy had an enormous heart and would literally give the shirt off his back if he could. If someone he loved was in need, he would go out of his way to help. Sometimes, even helping someone that he didn’t he even know. Billy was a strong man that had a lot of fight in him and in the last few months, the last Marine fight he had left. He loved his family and loved ones beyond measure and did not want to leave us. He will sadly be missed dearly by his family, friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father Dale Robert DeMoss; daughter, Kelly; grandson, Dakota; son in-law, Patrick Vidacs; brother, David Souder and first wife, Patsy Ann Hickman.
