Bill Dean Grey

Bill D. Grey, 83, passed away April 25, 2018. Among many professions, he served in the US Army, retired from Santa Fe Truck Line after 28 years, did bookkeeping for Bethel Life Church, volunteered at Via Christi, and at his latest job, he served as a clerk for the Sedgwick County public defender's office. He was a "foodie" who enjoyed eating, trying out the latest cuisine at new restaurants and creating his own recipes. Bill was a selfless, caring and compassionate man and a wonderful husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Eileen; sisters, Joyce (Dick) Allen, Shirley Grey and Colleen (Jim) Adams. He is survived by sons, David (Billie) and Loren (Leora Wright) Grey; brother, Bob (Laverne) Grey; sister; Carol (Wayne) Ravenstein; as well as many other family members and friends. Bill's celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary.
