Age 91, passed away to be with his Lord and loving wife on Feb. 11, 2016. Art was raised in Enterprise, KS and left home to join the Navy in 1943. He was a decorated veteran of World War II and afterwards attended and graduated from Kansas University. After a life-long commitment of working with the Veterans Administration, Art retired to enjoy time with his family. As a member of University Friends Church he enjoyed fellowship and serving the Lord. Art was preceded in his journey home by his devoted wife Beverly; his brothers Dick and Don, sister Doris and son Richard. He is survived by his sisters Patsy and Audrey; his sons Scott, Dana, and Derek; his 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service for family and long-time friends will be 10 am Feb. 16, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita KS. A grave site farewell at Jamesburg cemetery is immediately after.
