Anna Catherine Koerner

Koerner, Anna Catherine Taylor, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the age of 79. Rosary 7 p.m., Monday, January 21 and funeral services 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, both at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 2801 S. Seneca. Anna was born on March 15, 1933 to Ada and Richard Taylor. She was a member of Red Hot Hatters Club, TOPS and enjoyed ceramics. Anna was a wonderful wife of 61 years to Roman, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She never met a stranger. Anna most cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susie; brothers, Ikey, Jimmie and Ronnie Taylor. Anna is survived by her husband Roman; son, Paul Koerner; daughter, Becky (Todd) Middleton; son, Mike Koerner; daughter, Patty Hill; daughter, Lori (Mike) Boone; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Barney; sixteen grandchildren, Ronnie, Jennifer, Angela, Kelly, Erica, Kate, Caleb, Amy, Bryan, Bethany, Desiree, Ashton, Adam, Brandon, Amber and Kyle; numerous great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Sassy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202 and Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.
