Alice Maude Thompson

Alice "Ali" Maude Thompson, age 88, of Sabetha, Kansas passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. She was born September 7, 1934 to Percy and Gertrude Smith in Lincoln, Maine. Alice was very generous with her feelings towards any "friend" in need. She shared her love and spirit with everyone. Alice loved to cook and her prayers were many for all. She also loved quilting and sewing. Alice and Florien were united in marriage on July 25, 1953 and celebrated 70 years together before his passing in 2003. She and Florien had served 22 years in the US Air Force with her working for the Air Force Federal Credit Union.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Vernon Smith, Randolph Smith, Edward Smith, Wilbur Smith, sisters; Mary Plourde and Helen Shedd. Her surviving family includes her sisters Florence (Tom) Ham, Barbara (Joe) Oleary and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be made to the Apostolic Christian Home on 511 Paramount St. Sebetha, KS, 66534.
