Yvonne R Wagenfuehr

A graveside service will be held at 2pm. Thursday 16 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple, TX with Rev. Robert Beamon officiating.

Yvonne was born to Homer & Bertha (Armstrong) Robinson on March 14, 1933 in Temple, TX.

She graduated Temple High School and Temple Jr. College and on June 14th 1958 she married Otto Julius Wagenfuehr in Temple. They had 2 children. Yvonne & O.J. celebrated 53 years of marriage before his passing in 2011. Yvonne worked as a secretary for many years in the Wichita Falls independent school district. She was a member of Trinity American Lutheran Church where she volunteered for many bake sales, pot lucks and celebrations there. Also, as a member of the china painters guild she left many beautiful treasures for family and friends.

For the last 10 years she was a resident of Presbyterian Manor. She loved to play canasta and hand & foot with her friends and again, baking goodies for the many bake sales at the Manor.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband O.J., her mother & father, her brother Walter John (W.J.) Robinson of San Diego, CA and her sister Mary Tom Pascasio of Richardson, TX and daughter-in-law Nancy Wagenfuehr.

She is survived by her daughter Julie Cassity & husband Kent, son Jay Wagenfuehr, granddaughter Tayler Wagenfuehr and grandson William Wagenfuehr, sister-in-law Betty Robinson and many nieces and nephews.

Family would like to express our thanks to the staff, residents, nurses and Dr. Parkey of Presbyterian Manor, Perkins Protho Health Care and Hospice of Wichita Falls for the love and care given to our mother.
