Stephen Jay Morgan

Stephen (Steve) Jay Morgan went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 29,2017. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 am at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Steve was born August 12, 1952 in Abbeville, La. Steve was a loving husband and father, POPS, and friend. Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking out with his buddies and hanging out with his beautiful granddaughters.

After graduating from Rider in 1970. He attended Midwestern University for 2 years. He went to work at Sprague Electric in 1970. Then went to work for Halliburton in 1973. Then after Halliburton closed here he went to work for Trio Consulting and Management in 1992 up to July,2017.

He married the love of his life Denise Thompson on February 5, 1972 at Fairway Baptist Church. They were blessed with two sons and a wonderful life.

Steve was a member of Trinity United Methodist church.

Steve is survived by his wife Denise two sons Stevie Morgan and wife Marilyn and Dusty Morgan and wife Robin. Two granddaughters River Morgan and Canyon Morgan. Also his brother Randy Morgan and wife Barbara. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by Woodrow Wilson Morgan, mom Margaret Lou Reed Morgan, brother Lance Morgan, brother Ron Morgan, sister in law Joann Morgan and his precious granddaughter Meadow Hope Morgan.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
