Mary Ella (Ballard) Wright, 81, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Wichita Falls. Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, TX with Rev. Harvey McMurray, Hospice of Wichita Falls Chaplain, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright was born March 19, 1929 in Wichita Falls, where she was a lifelong resident.
She was a homemaker and is preceded in death by a son, James Roy and her husband, Bill Wright.
Surviving relatives include her son, Dee Roy, and his wife Janice of Lake Arrowhead, TX; one daughter, Pamela Davis of Seymour, TX; grandchildren, Deanna Roy; Michael Roy and his wife, Traci; Jeff Roy and his wife, Becky; Jim Roy and his wife, Jill; Robert Davis and Ryan Davis; 7 great grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Bennett.
Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, TX 76309.
