Martha Wilma Janice Hill Pittman

Wilma Pittman, 90, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 in Wichita Falls. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Will Aston, Pastor, Antelope Baptist Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pittman was born July 8, 1920 in Muldrow, OK to Robert Lee and Lucinda Jane (Bridges) Hill. She married Harley M. Pittman on November 4, 1938 in Wichita Falls. She was a full-time mother who always helped those in need. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her siblings, Roberta Hill, Betty Hall, Virgil Hill, and Dave Hill; two grandchildren, Gina Jones and Levi Pittman; and one great grandchild, Dallas Levi Pettijohn.

Surviving relatives include her children, Wanda Smith of Wichita Falls, Harli Holloway of Iowa Park, Pat Smith of Wichita Falls, Linda Aston of Antelope, Carol Pettijohn of Wichita Falls, and Larry Pittman of Wichita Falls; 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, TX 76309.
