Mario Esparza, Jr.

Rosary will be at 7 PM, Thursday at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Mass will be at 1:00 PM, Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Mario was born on March 5, 1980 in Mission Hills, California to Mario Esparza and Tami Higgins Coleman. He was a gauger for Arconic Industries for 3 years and had lived in Wichita Falls for the past 20 years. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He loved softball, fishing, and taking the kids to the park. He was an avid sports fan of his California teams such as the Raiders, the Lakers, and the Dodgers. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Thomas Jefferson Higgins and uncles: Cisco Esparza and David Esparza.

Survivors include his parents: Mario Esparza and Tami Coleman of Wichita Falls; his children: Tre’ Esparza of Alaska and Devon Esparza of Vernon; sisters: Rosa Catalan, Sonya Esparza, and Evangeline Esparza, all of Wichita Falls; brothers: Joey Esparza and Christian Esparza, both of Wichita Falls; grandparents: Mary Ellen Halford of Wichita Falls, Frank Esparza and Virginia Esparza of California; nephews: Michael Catalan, Alex Esparza, and Jason Esparza; and nieces: Mercedes Catalan and Serena Catalan.
