Lyle B. Russell

Lyle Beckwith Russell, 82, passed away March 17, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A visitation will be held at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home on Monday, March 21, from 6pm to 8pm. A graveside service will be held at 3pm Tuesday, March 22, at Riverside Cemetery, 1810 5th St, Wichita Falls, Texas.

Lyle was born on February 12, 1934 in New Orleans, LA, to Lyle H. and Bessie Russell. Lyle lived in the Wichita Falls area for over 40 years. He married Norma Christopher Russell in 1970. Lyle was a proud member of the NRA. He enjoyed building RC planes, he was an automotive enthusiast, and a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Lyle loved his family and enjoyed traveling to visit them all.

Lyle is preceded in death by; his parents, Lyle and Bessie Russell, and wife, Norma Russell.

Survivors include; children, Toni Alonso and her husband Colon, Sheryl Palmer, Lyle Joseph Russell, and Jonathan Patrick Russell, stepson, Charles Everett and his wife, Cheryl (Sug), and stepdaughter, Allison Kerry; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls and Archer City Nursing Center.
