Julian Hernandez Jr., age 71, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Julian Sr. and Mary Helen Hernandez on February 12th, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Julian was a dedicated husband, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and wisdom touched all who knew him.
Julian is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Sostenes Hernandez. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring memories. He was a proud father to his children: Virginia Peacemaker and her husband Ed, Juan Ramirez and his wife Angella, Joe Ranjel and his husband Stephen Gates, and Denese Montes and her husband Michael. Julian cherished his role as a grandfather to Britni Thompson, Brian Thompson and wife Breanna, Juli Alvear and wife Priscilla, Roberto Ramirez, Erik Rodriguez and Myka Montes, always taking immense pride in their accomplishments.
Julian touched the lives of his siblings: Jane Pacheco and husband Juan, Rosie Hernandez, Michael Hernandez and Missy Hernandez and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Julian served as a skilled craftsman of Howmet Corporation for 41 years. Known for his quick-witted, keen sense of humor and storytelling. Julian could always be counted on to share a tale or two that would light up any room.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday April 18, at Hampton Vaughan at Crestview Memorial Park followed by a catered reception.
Julian Hernandez Jr. will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion will continue to inspire generations to come.
