Judy Hendrix

Judy was born August 12, 1953 in Wichita Falls to Videll, and Beatrice Swafford.

Judy was a devoted wife to her husband Mark, and a loving mother to their two children Michael and Jimmy. Judy graduated from Hirschi High School in 1971 where she met the love of her life Mark whom she married September 22,1973 in Wichita Falls, TX. Judy was a devout member Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She was also a member of Al-anon Family Groups for over 26 years, and cherished the work she did. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, spoiling her fur babies, gardening, and spending time with her four grandchildren. Judy loved her family, and friends so very much. Her smile & great sense humor will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her Brother Johnny Swafford, and his wife Jo Ann Swafford. Judy’s sons Michael Hendrix, and wife Kristin Hendrix of North Richland Hills, Jimmy Hendrix of Fort Worth, grandchildren Zoe, Hailey, Michelle, and Aiden Hendrix.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Mark Hendrix, parents Videll, Beatrice Swafford, brother Jimmy Swafford, and her sister Elizabeth Faye.

Viewing will be from 1PM - 2PM Tuesday April 22, 2025 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel prior to Service at 2 PM.

Interment will follow at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park.
