Johnny was born in Wichita Falls on September 18, 1987, to Johnny Hickman Johnson and Erlinda Gaitan Masters. He graduated from Rider High School and worked in the oil industry.
Johnny was known for his very unique and boisterous laugh; his laugh was contagious because he laughed all over! He was outgoing and sociable, and the life of every party. Johnny enjoyed entertaining with his witty and funny jokes, and most of all liked making others happy. He was passionate about spending time with his boys, ATV’s, four wheelers, hunting, fishing, spending time at the lake, and next to all these, his favorite thing in the world was watching his Dallas Cowboys play with all his friends surrounding him.
Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents: Pete and Margaret Gaitan of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Al and Lucille Johnson of Tipton, Oklahoma.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Masters; his father Johnny Hickman Johnson and wife Vickie of Inola, Oklahoma; his children Orlando Arenivar and Grayson Ray Johnson; his sister Carrie Gonzales of Wichita Falls; sister Tarrie Gonzales of Dallas; brother Benny Leo Gonzales and wife Christina of Wichita Falls; Jennifer Jennings of Frederick, Oklahoma; brother Stephen Johnson of Inola, Oklahoma; and stepsister Sharla Harris. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Johnny’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28th, at 10:00 AM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is scheduled on Friday, September 27th, from 6-8 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
