James Thomas Jones, 78, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Wichita Falls. He was born on November 6, 1938 in Lockesburg, AR to the late M. B. Jones and Mary Lois Sharp Jones. In 1958 he married Diane Case in Grandfield, OK. James worked as a machinist for the Texas Highway Department for 35 years and was a life-long musician.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Jones of Wichita Falls; children, James Bryant Jones and wife Vicki of Lakeside City and Sandra Lynn Browning and husband Mike of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Heather Hall, Derrick Jones and Kenny Jones; 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Jones and John McClosky.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel.
