Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday December 16, 2024 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on December 17, 2024 in Childress Cemetery Childress, TX.
Ivan was born on March 13, 1942, in Childress, TX to Ruben Franklin LeCroy and Iva Anna Seabourn LeCroy. He worked with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 32 yrs.
Ivan loved his job and would talk to anyone who would listen for hours about his time with the RR. He loved working with his hands doing anything from woodwork, concrete or even electrical. Whatever job he did he would make sure to try and leave his initials with a date on it, so everyone could be proud of his handy work.
Survivors include his son John LeCroy; daughter Yevonne LaMel and her husband Jeffery LaMel; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lawana LeCroy; brother Franklin LeCroy.
