Inez Luomer (Whitaker) Smith, 90, passed away June 10, 2015 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Visitation will be from 8am to 9:45am Friday, June 12, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home, Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside Services will be held at 10am Friday at Crestview Memorial Park.
She was born May 7, 1925 in Fluvanna, Texas. She grew up in Eastland, Texas, where she also graduated High School. She married the late Russell Smith in 1947. She lived and worked in Wichita Falls for 61 years.
Survivors include: Step-daughter; Sandra Howeth, brother; Alvin Whitaker, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mineral Wells Health and Rehab, and many thanks to Solaris nursing staff.
