Helen A Wright

Helen was born November 5, 1929 in Stamford, Texas the only daughter to Floyd and Aline Cunningham. Shortly after that they moved to Wichita Falls where she resided the rest of her life. She attended Alamo Elementary, Zundy Junior High and Wichita Falls High School. After high school she went on to Draughon School of Business. After finishing Draughon’s she went to work for the Dean of Students at Midwestern University. She worked there a few years then got a position with the Civil Service at Sheppard Air Force Base and remained there for almost 30 years until her retirement in 1995. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her friends, especially going on cruises. She was very involved with meals on wheels, until her health would no longer let her. Helen was the last living charter member of Central Christian Church.

Helen is preceded on death by her parents and one son, Frank.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Moore, Joe Wright (Cathy), Scott Wright (Liz) and Don Wright (Carie). Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. with a funeral to follow at 2:00.
