Geneva B Dalton

A visitation for Geneva will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.

A chapel funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Hampton Vaughan Chapel.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, David Blankenship, Jimmy Garrett, Robby Swanson, Joey Swanson, Cody Wadjun, Sean Jantz and Aaron Jantz.

Geneva was born in Carnegie, Oklahoma on February 2, 1932, to Charles Sullivan and Lula Bell Sullivan (Roden). She was the oldest of seven children.

Geneva met and married the love of her life, Joel Dalton on December 4, 1948, after which they became lifelong residents of Wichita Falls.

Survivors include six daughters and one son; Linda Garrett (Walter) of Wichita Falls, Susie Blankenship of Wichita Falls, Larry Dalton (Cheryl) of Wichita Falls, Gaylen Garrett (Danny) of Wichita Falls, Kim Wadjun of Wichita Falls, Treva Swanson (Mark) of Wichita Falls and Jan Jantz (Chris) of Wichita Falls, 20 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren, sisters; Charles Dean Ingram of Healton, OK, Jo Ann Huggins of Ringling, OK and brother Leslie Sullivan of Ringling, OK.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joel, two grandsons, Tyler Gage Blankenship and Danny Lee Garrett and three sisters, Georgia Canada, Jean Boswell and Bertha Thatcher.
