Frankie was born February 7, 1951, to Frankie Sr. and Frances (Hughes) Martin, in Houston, Texas. Frankie was a Mechanical Engineer by trade. He loved to teach people about everything he knew. He liked to influence the younger generations in the importance of an education. Frankie loved to bowl, golf, and dance. He worked for GM and Delphi for 35 years and retired from Delphi as the Engineering manager. He married the love of his life on August 29th, 1987. He was a member of the Welch Street Church of Christ.
Frankie is survived by: wife; Shirley Martin, son; Damon Martin, stepchildren; Virginia Jones, James Sebree, and Michael McClanahan, brothers; Kenny, David, Michael, and Greg Martin, and Parents; Frances Blanks and Frankie Martin Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
