Elnoria Savage, age 103, passed away December 21, 2023. A visitation for Elnoria will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302, followed by a chapel funeral service at 1:00 PM, with Justin King, Chaplain with Hospice of Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
Elnoria was born on June 29, 1920 in the Hurnville community north of Henrietta, Texas to the late Pete and Pauline Moser. She was the third of nine brothers and sisters. She was a graduate of Henrietta High School. She met the love of her life, Sidney Walter Savage, at the boarding house she worked at in Wichita Falls, Texas. They married September 14, 1942 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She loved being a wife, mother and homemaker. Her favorite things were cooking, canning, gardening, embroidery and quilting. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a long member of Lamar Baptist Church.
Elnoria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years Sidney W. Savage, her son Sidney Scott Savage, her sisters Hannie Bragg, Linda Wells, Louise Bragg, Sophia Nichols, her brothers Albert Moser and Billy Ray Moser.
Elnoria is survived by her daughter, Paula Savage of Wichita Falls, Texas; granddaughter Amy Robinson and husband Kerry of Navasota, Texas; grandson Christopher Savage and wife Keesha of Bullard, Texas; great grandson Jeremy Baehr and wife Courtney of Willis, Texas; great granddaughter Savannah Caldwell of Lawrenceville, Georgia; great granddaughter Heather Sanchez and husband Marcus of Frankston, Texas; great granddaughter Kristie Simmons and husband Cannon of Bullard, Texas; great granddaughter Sydney Savage of Bullard, Texas; great great grandsons Roman and Cruz Sanchez and great great granddaughter Ava Grace Eddy. She is also survived by her brother Carl Moser and sister Margaret Marshall.
