Elaine Howard Goodson

A loving mother, Gramma, GiGi, wife, and friend, Patricia Elaine Cade Goodson was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Darwin Cade Sr. on August 14th, 1947, in Dallas, TX. She went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 23, 2023, at the age of 76. She attended S.H. Rider High School and later became a Registered Nurse and teacher at VRJC. She married Lewis Craig Goodson on June 20, 2015, with whom she lived some of her best years.

Some of Elaine's favorite hobbies were quilting, rug hooking, and shopping as well as seeing a good movie. Most importantly, Elaine had a very caring heart. She loved God, her family, and her friends very much

Elaine is survived by her husband Craig Goodson; her daughters, Julie Johnston and her husband Tom; Lori Maxwell and her husband Bill; and Amiee Miller and her husband Stanley; her brothers, Stephen Edward Cade and his wife Pam; and Robert Darwin Cade Jr.; her brother-in-law, Andy Goodson and his wife Linda; her step-sons, Shane Goodson and his wife Diana; and Travis Goodson and his wife Kathy; her honorary sister, Diane Pollard; and her 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Robert Darwin Cade St., her mother, Glenna Neil Cade, and her sister-in-law, Dena Goodson Blaine.

Elaine's services will be held graveside on Tuesday, September 26 at 10:00am at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita
