Ed was a family man. He kept in contact with numerous cousins, in-laws, nephews and nieces. He loved visiting with them and reminiscing about days gone past. Ed was always up for a good story. Though Ed was pretty old school, he tried to stay up with the times through Facebook. This allowed him to keep in touch with everyone and see what was going on in their lives. He loved looking at pix and reading jokes!
In addition, Ed was a long-time employee of the Wichita Falls Housing Authority. Ed began working as a maintenance man in his early twenties. He worked hard and rose through the ranks becoming Maintenance Supervisor and eventually Deputy Director before he retired.
There will be a Memorial Service for Ed on Friday, February 5th @ 1 p.m. at the Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. As he is being cremated, there will be no graveside service. Also, the family has decided to not have an “official” viewing. (Please remember COVID Safety Protocols when visiting &/or attending; do not let this horrible disease take anyone else we love.)
