He grew up in White Settlement, Texas and graduated from Brewer High School in 1969. After graduating high school Ed attended a local college and began his career in air and hydraulics. In 1985 he met Sue Pearce who became the love of his life. They were married September 12, 1986. Three years later their daughter, Michele JaNae was born. From the moment he laid eyes on Michele they were inseparable. He had great love for his stepchildren, Jonathan and Sherri. As much as he loved being a dad, his greatest pride was being a Grandpa to Paige, Elaina, Rylan, Braelyn, Vance, Billy and Leila. You could say Ed was a jack of all trades. He loved to fish, cook, work with wood, forge steel and rebuild antique cars. His most prized possession was his 55 Chevy Bel Air.
There will be a car show and cruise with the Camp Bowie Cruisers on June 8, 2024 from 5:30 until 10:00 P.M. in honor of Ed with his 55 Chevy Bel Air in the procession. Meeting location will be at Little Caesars, 6504 Camp Bowie Blvd. Everyone is invited to attend.
