Dorothy Wood

Dorothy was a mother to two sons John and Boyd Lay deceased and 2 daughters. Her memory lives on with her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Wayne Brooks, Erna Sines Daughter. Grandsons Justin, John, and Kolten Lay. Granddaughter Brandy Neal and Great Grandson Preston Folsom. Also many cousins and family in-laws and friends.

Dorothy was a woman that was loved by everyone usually by first meeting. She had such a big heart very strong family oriented. Dorothy's greatest love was cooking and getting to cook for others enjoyment. She had 3 restaurants in wichita falls, first was dottie's diner home of $.05 cup of coffee. Dorothy was angelic and will be missed by us all. We all love you and know that God has taken an angel that walked among us.

A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas.
