Dennis Theron Garrett Jr.

Dennis “Denny” Garrett, 66, of Wichita Falls died Friday, December 10, 2010 at a local hospital. A memorial service has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Chapel officiated by Elmer Johnson. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Denny was born May 28, 1944 in Lampasas, TX to Dennis and Hortensia (Maura) Garret. He has lived in Wichita Falls since 1955. He married Vicki Dayle Keith August 31, 1984 in Wichita Falls. He retired from the City of Wichita Falls. Denny loved to go hunting and fishing and adored spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Church of Christ at 10th and Broad.

Mr. Garrett is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Theron Garrett, Sr. in 1994.

Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Vicki Garrett; mother, Hortensia Garrett of Bossier City, LA; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Davis of Wichita Falls, Randal and Tina of Floresville, TX, Ryan and Lila of Petrolia; sister and brother-in-law, Marty and Hop Paden of Shreveport, LA, eleven grandchildren; eight nieces; three nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
