

Visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Chapel of Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Faxon Cemetery in Faxon, OK.
Dub was born January 8, 1939 on the family farm in Faxon, Oklahoma to David William and Nellie Mae Huddelston. He was a 1957 graduate of Chattanooga High School in Chattanooga, OK. In 1959, Dub married LaRay Elizabeth Rich of Hollister, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma State University School of Technical Training with a certification as a diesel mechanic in May of 1961.
Dub began his career with Dowell in 1963 as a shop mechanic in Enid, OK. In 1974, he moved to Midland, TX as the Area Maintenance Manager. This was the first in a series of moves and promotions that culminated with him as the Maintenance Manager for all of Schlumberger's assets in the western United States, including Alaska. After 37 years of service, he retired from Schlumberger and relocated from Houston to Wichita Falls, TX.
Dub was a Christian, loving husband, Daddy, Papa and Great Pop. He and his wife, LaRay, lived in 15 cities in 52 years of marriage where they were active members in the Baptist church in each community. After losing his bride, LaRay, in 2012 he found love again and married Cora Ann Ray. They celebrated 6 years together before her passing in 2020.
Since 1990, Dub has been an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association in The Houston Area and Wichita Falls chapters where he participated in many rides and ministerial activities. He was active in Church Without Walls and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls since 2004.
Survivors include two children, Dub Huddelston and wife Delphine, and Debbie Eaton and husband Willie; grandchildren Leann Criswell and husband Brad, Kayla Moritz and husband Michael, Jake Huddelston, Will Eaton, and Jenna Tompkins and husband Reid; great grandchildren Kyle and LilyAnn Criswell; brother-in-law, John Rich.
Dub was preceded in death by his parents, wife LaRay Huddelston of 52 years, and wife Cora Ann Ray Huddelston of 6 years. He was the last survivor of 7 siblings and their spouses. In memory of Dub and his love of motorcycle riding and the mission and ministries of the Christian Motorcycle Association, donations can be made in his memory to cmausa.org.
