Charles Chuck, Coach Robert Kahn

Charles “Chuck” “Coach” Robert Kahn, 81, passed away Monday, January 5, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm Thursday, January 7, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 8, at Crestview Memorial Park.

Chuck was born March 12, 1934 to Arthur E. Kahn Sr. and Dorothy Scarlett Kahn in Hayes, Kansas. Chuck served his country honorably by serving 23 years in the Air Force. He married Catherine Doyle in 1958. He loved fishing, dancing, and swimming in his swimming pool. He also loved coaching his little league team, which he did for many years.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Kahn; brothers Donald and Arthur Kahn Jr.

Survivors include: children, Dory Ramsey and husband, Craig, Thomas Kahn and wife, Patricia, Tim Kahn and wife, Xan; grandchildren, Catherine Gallant (Jonathan), Shelli Goodballet (Sgt Joseph), Kaylee Kahn, Ty Kahn, Madison Kahn, Mariah Kahn; step granddaughter, Kristin Berend (Shane); great grandson, Thomas Goodballet; step great grandchildren, Colton, Cayson, and Kylie Berend; brother, George Kahn (Nancy); sisters, Patricia Dominguez, and Doris Fetters (Rex); Godchildren, John Crowe, Brian Crowe (Kathryn), Mark Crowe (Kimbra), TJ Chancellor (Kerri), Kelli Blake (Brice); special family friends, Patti and Jeff Behrle, Tom Chancellor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
