Mrs. Carolyn Sue Bedford Glenn

Carolyn Sue Glenn, 69, of Wichita Falls passed away Friday, October 23, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary House of First Christian Church of Iowa Park officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 Monday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Glenn was born in Wichita Falls to Wilburn Bedford and Leta Wigley Bedford and they preceded her in death. She was a lifelong resident of the area residing in Iowa Park and Wichita Falls. Sue was a member of the First Christian Church of Iowa Park. She worked as a bookkeeper for various oil companies in the area for 31 years and always loved her work.

Sue married her husband Lyndell Glenn on May 20, 1961 in Iowa Park and he survives her. Other survivors are her daughter, Celeste Wright and husband, David of Wichita Falls; grandchildren Courtney Olds, Carrollton, Tx. And Lyndsey Reid, Iowa Park; step-grandsons, Chad Wright and Chase Wright; a sister, Jan Reaves of Iowa Park.

Pallbearers are Chester Posey, Jeff Posey, Val Glenn, Chase Wright, Frank Hardin and John D. Swanson.

In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests memorial donations to the First Christian Church of Iowa Park, 210 E. Cash St. 76367.
