Bill Brewster went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2023 at the age of 90. He was born on November 26. 1932 in Delhi, OK to George and Nora Davis Brewster. He was married to Pat Tillman Brewster for 69 years.
Bill was a veteran and served his country in Japan during the Korean conflict. On his return from Japan, he and Pat moved to Wichita Falls and made it their home. He was a sales rep for Paper Service Company for 43 years. They were blessed with two children, Cindy Morgan and Tom Brewster.
Bill was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed holidays and family vacations with those he loved most. He could often be found watching his grandkids at their school and sporting events. He also enjoyed taking his grandkids out for Yogurt Journey every chance he got all of his grandkids knew who the favorite was because he would always tell them "you're my favorite, but don't tell anyone". He had the best sense of humor and could always make people smile.
Bill was a deacon at First Baptist Church and taught the Men's Legacy Sunday School class for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lillie Maddox and Veda Erwin; two brothers, Arlene Brewster and Travis Brewster; and a son-in-law, Steven Morgan.
He is survived by his wife Pat; daughter Cindy Morgan; son Tom Brewster and wife Lana;
granddaughter Sarah Lucas and husband Jamey; granddaughter Kaci Brewster; and great grandchildren Melissa Conn, Kip Lucas, and Harley Lucas.
He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends who will all remember him as a strong
Christian who loved to share his faith with others.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 6, 2023 from 5- 6:30 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10 AM at First Baptist Church Wichita Falls, TX Friday April 7, 2023 with burial to follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls.
