Billie Mae Brannon Smith, 83, of Wichita Falls passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Larry Suttle, Pastor of Tenth and Broad Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Wichita Falls on September 16, 1930 to Pete Brannon and Bessie (Davis) Brannon. She and Warren C. Smith were married in Wichita Falls in 1950. They were members of Tenth and Broad Church of Christ. Billie was formerly the Manager of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company here in Wichita Falls and later was a realtor with Breault Realtors. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always took care of her family.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Imogene Gavin and a brother, J. P. Brannon. Survivors are her husband, Warren C. Smith of Wichita Falls; daughters, Shelley Carlson and husband Richard and Cindy Green and husband Richard, all of Richardson, TX; son Chuck Smith and wife Deatra of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Courtney Carlson, Ryan Green, Brittnee Green, Garrison Smith, Mitchell Smith and Story Mae Smith; great grandchildren, Jamie Green and Joshua Green.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., 76310 or to Disability Resources, P. O. Box 1850, Abilene, TX 79604.
