Beverly Ann Ritchie, 79, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Crestview Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Beverly was born August 20, 1935 to Oley and Bessie McWhorter in Wichita Falls, Texas. She married Kenneth Ritchie on July 2, 1952 and raised their family in Wichita Falls, with an eight year transfer to Vernon before moving back to Wichita Falls. Beverly loved caring for her family and friends, reading, movies, and fishing. “Nanny” had a great sense of humor and was a hugger.
Beverly is preceded in death by: her parents; Oley and Bessie McWhorter, son; Loye, and husband; Kenneth.
She is survived by: daughters; Janet (Rick) Masters, Judy (Don) Young, and Julie (Gary) Dickerson, seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
