Alice Alcock

Services will be held June 8, 2024 at 10:00am at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Starkovich Forster of Hospice of Wichita Falls officiating. A graveside service will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30am before the service.

Alice was born on June 7, 1928 in Madison Heights, Virginia to Archie Lee and Alice Tharpe Brown. She married Edwin Alcock on September 6, 1953 in York, South Carolina. They were married 58 years until his passing in 2012.

Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked watching the Cowboys, Aggies and golf on television. She was also an avid gardener taking care of her Irises. She enjoyed sharing them with family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Wilfred Brown.

Alice is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws Yvonne and Reggie King and Wanda and Mike Remington; grandsons and spouses Jonathan and Deidra King, Jeffrey and Ladonna King, Ricky and Tracey Terrell and Brian and Jordan Terrell; great grandchildren Addie, Blayke, Collins, Brody, Landon, Elaina, Emery, Evyn, Quinton and Averi and great great grandchild Baker.
