Funeral Services are being arranged for Aaron Corneilus (Bud) Davis by Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be at the military cemetery at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. Levada Davis Lucier and Kevin Lucier, ministers of the Gospel will be officiating.
Aaron Corneilus (Bud) Davis passed away in Wichita Falls, Texas on Sunday, April 22, 2012. He was born Dec 20, 1926 in Kelton, Texas to Jessie Lee Davis and Edith Levada (Worley) Davis.
He was a World War II veteran. He was a Seaman first class in the United States Navy. He received a World War II Victory Medal. He was a Marksman and stationed at Wake Island in the Pacific. He will be honored by the United States Naval Honor Guard with military services including pallbearer duties.
He is survived by a son, Mike Runyon-Davis and his wife Susan, five granddaughters Jessica Lynn Runyon-Davis, Sarah Rose Runyon-Davis, Lydia Marie Runyon-Davis, Tabiatha Jean Runyon-Davis and Jody Lynn Davis Mattinen, eleven nieces, five nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 wives, Evelyn Moser Davis, Edith Moats Davis and Jerry Jo Barry Davis, one son James Lee Davis, two sisters Odessa English and Onad Duncan, three brothers Albert David Davis, Elmer Leroy Davis and Jessie Lee Davis, Jr., three nieces, and two nephews.
