He was born in Jersey City where he lived until moving to Whiting 37 years ago.
Mr. Falconer proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S Pope during World War II.
Prior to retiring, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 34 years and retired as Superintendent of Mails in Jersey City.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 68 years, Doris (nee Smith) Falconer. 2 Daughters: Judith Woelpper and her husband Jeff of Bayonne and Jean Beacham and her husband Jeffrey of Union Beach. A sister Catherine Thomas of Whiting. 6 Grandchildren: Laraine Benning and her husband Tom, Jeff Woelpper, Joseph Mazzeo and Jessica & Kyle Beacham. Also by 2 Great-grandchildren: Abigail & Thomas Benning.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday from 10:15 AM until the time of the service at 11:15 AM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
