Theresa A Novak

Theresa (Terry) A. Novak, age 91, of Whiting, New Jersey died peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Community Medical Center in Toms RIver, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she spent her early years after graduating Seton Hall working at Catholic Charities and then The Commission of the Blind for The State of New York. Terry spent the majority of her life working as a Social Worker helping others. Terry lived in Spring Valley with her lifelong friend, Carol Geoffrion for 40 years before moving back to New Jersey. She had such a good sense of humor and was great at remembering and passing along happy family stories and songs. She would still tell jokes and sing songs joyfully up until her passing.

Terry was predeceased by her parents, Anna B (Nowakowski) Novak and John J. Novak; her loving sister, Jean Novak and her lifelong friend, Carol P. Geoffrion.

She will be missed by her brother, John (Sonny) J. Novak, Jr.; a niece, nephews and several cousins. She will be dearly missed by her Goddaughter, Donna Dunsmuir and her husband, Bob.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the viewing on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. A Funeral Service will be held during the viewing at 8:15 PM at the funeral home. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home followed by burial at 12:30 PM at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave in Colonia, NJ.
