Susan D. Shanahan, 64 of Barnegat passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 17th. Susan was born in Newark and lived most of her life in South Toms River before moving to Barnegat in 1984. Sue was a warranty administrator with Lester Glen Hyundai in Toms River.
She was a member of Christ Evangelical Church of Whiting and had served as organist. She was also a member of the Crestwood Chorus for many years.
Surviving is her two sisters Jackie Shanahan Gilsenan and her husband John of Jacksonville, FL. and Diane Shanahan of Plainfield. Also surviving is two nieces and nephews, three grandnieces and two grandnephews.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday May 5th at 2 PM. at Christ Evangelical Church in Whiting, NJ. The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting is in charge of her arrangements. You can visit the website or leave an on-line condolence at andersoncampbellwhiting.com.
