Salvatore Joseph Dipaola

On September 21,2023, Salvatore Joseph DiPaola passed away peacefully. Sal is survived by his wife Concetta "Chickie" DiPaola, his Sister Rosalie Roviello, two children Michael and Laura, and three grandchildren, Alicia, Sophia, and Joseph. Sal was born in Brooklyn to his parents Anna and Joseph DiPaola. Sal and Chickie met in 1975 on a blind date. From that moment they realized they had found true love as they married later that year July 19, 1975. On October 23, 1976 they welcomed their first child, Michael and two years later on January 30, 1979 they welcomed their second child, Laura. The young family moved to New Jersey to begin their lives together. Sal was a career salesman who started his career in sales by selling cars. Then in 1988 he began a career as a salesman for American Appliance where spent the majority of his career. It was during that time where Sal made lifelong friends.

Sal's two children grew up and started families of their own. Laura has a child, Sophia. Sophia is 13 years old and is currently in eighth grade, she loves chorus and drama. Sal's eldest child, Michael is a high school teacher and he married his wife, Sally on June 27, 2006. Together they have two children. Alicia, who attends Rowan university and plans on a career in law. Joseph is 11 years old and in fifth grade. Joey loves playing flag football, soccer and basketball. Sal was a very hard worker that always strived hard to support his family. As a father he was always there whether it was financially supporting his children's needs or yelling at them to try to help them become better people. Sal always loved his wife Chickie deeply and it was clear his love for her was pure and undying.

Salvatore was loved and respected by his family and friends. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Cousin. The news of his passing has left a void in our hearts. Salvatore will always live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Big D.
