Patricia Gary

Born on 23 March 1961, Patricia was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. She was one of three children born to Olivia Gary. Patricia departed this life on Thursday, 17 November 2022. In her youth, Patricia excelled at baking and cooking. She loved music and was an awesome dresser who was stylish wherever she went. Patricia worked as a phlebotomist in a doctor’s office and was a dedicated worker at Numerax, a division of McGraw-Hill, a book publishing company in Maywood New Jersey. Patricia also worked as a cashier at Kohl’s department store. In addition, she worked as a cashier at a Rite Aid location in Paramus, New Jersey. Patricia volunteered at local shelters to feed the homeless and she was an extremely talented artist. She loved crossword and word search puzzles. She was a devoted Christian and in 2018 was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Westwood, NJ. Patricia leaves behind to mourn her mother, Olivia Gary, and her brother Jeffrey Cotten (Bridgette), a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved pet yorkie, Pepper. Patricia is pre-deceased by her father, Samuel Gary Sr., and her brother, Samuel Gary Jr. Since Patricia’s wishes were for cremation, a memorial service on her behalf will follow at a later date.
